At present, a number of major projects in Linhe District are being solidly advanced, including the comprehensive improvement of the North Side Branch Drainage Ditch under the large-scale waterlogging drainage renovation project, the Fifth Middle School Branch Campus, and the Zhongqing Agricultural and Commercial Smart Industry Chain Complex.

In the project area for the comprehensive improvement of the North Side Branch Drainage Ditch under the large-scale waterlogging drainage renovation project in Linhe District, large machinery is clearing silt from the ditch. The North Side Canal was first built in the 1970s and is an important flowing water system in the Ulansuhai Nur basin, undertaking the drainage function for basic farmland.

"At present, the ditch is seriously silted and overgrown with weeds, resulting in poor drainage and blockage. The implementation of the project will improve the operating conditions of the North Side Branch Drainage Ditch, stabilize the drainage ecosystem, and enhance the region's capacity for waterlogging drainage and disaster reduction," introduced Cheng Lanyan, deputy director of the Linhe District Drainage Affairs Center.

It is understood that this year Linhe District has arranged 116 major projects, of which 25 are listed as municipal-level major projects. Up to now, Linhe District has launched 12 new major projects with a total investment of 4.673 billion yuan, and plans to complete an investment of 3.051 billion yuan in 2024.
