The cutterhead of the "Shun'an" shield machine broke through the soil, marking the successful completion of the right-line shield tunneling for the section from Mingbin Road Station to Liuzhou East Road Station on Nanjing Metro Line 11.

Since Liuzhou East Road Station, the receiving end of the section, is a four-level underground station with a well-developed groundwater system and high water levels, and the section lies within the Yangtze River floodplain geomorphic unit with complex geological conditions, Nanjing Metro attached great importance to the project. In response to the surrounding environment of the section, the characteristics of the alignment, and the technical difficulties of the shield receiving in water, experts were invited to conduct scheme verification, and a series of safety technical measures were formulated. Process control was strengthened, ensuring that measures were in place and responsibilities assigned to individuals. Daily patrols and monitoring were carried out, and emergency response capabilities were enhanced, ensuring the successful completion of right-line shield tunneling for the Mingbin Road Station to Liuzhou East Road Station section and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent completion of both lines.
