Since the beginning of spring, Zhuanglang County has taken project construction as its key lever, focusing on advancing the optimization and upgrading of the Pingliang Red Cattle industry chain, striving to build itself into a strong county for the Pingliang Red Cattle industry across the province and a high-quality, premium-grade beef cattle production base, sounding the "march of progress" in which project construction drives industrial development.

　　At the construction site of the 2,000-head Pingliang Red Cattle breeding community in Mengshan Village, Liuliang Town, Zhuanglang County, excavators and farm vehicles shuttle back and forth, while workers seize the golden construction period to carry bricks and build walls, presenting a busy scene at the site.

　　"To accelerate project construction, we have started from both equipment allocation and labor guarantees, increasing investment to ensure completion and commissioning on schedule," said Meng Fuyu, the project manager.

　　It is understood that the project covers an area of 85.6 mu, with a planned investment of 62 million yuan. It will build 10 standardized cattle barns, equipped with a visual big-data central control platform, barn data collection, cattle information collection, intelligent control, and monitoring systems, as well as exercise yards, silage pits, hay storage warehouses, disinfection channels, and other facilities.

　　In recent years, Zhuanglang County has firmly established the philosophy of "projects as the priority, investment promotion as the key," focusing on characteristic industries such as Pingliang Red Cattle, making the most of the "livestock head and meat tail" approach, attracting investment for a 30,000-head beef cattle slaughtering production line and a forage reserve base project, planning and building a number of key projects such as concentrate feed production and processing, helping to strengthen, extend, and complete the Pingliang Red Cattle industry chain, and accelerating the cultivation of new drivers for economic development.
