The Xiangluzhou Bridge is the 14th river-crossing channel under construction in Changsha. It starts from Shutang Road in Dingziwan Subdistrict in the east, successively crosses over Hedong Wantian Road, Xiangjiang North Road, Hexi Xiaoxiang Road Scenic Road, and Xiaoxiang North Road, and connects to Tengfei Road in Dazehu Subdistrict in the west. The main line is 3.24 kilometers long, the ramps are about 3.85 kilometers long, and the roadway has six lanes in both directions.

The main tower of the bridge adopts a "diamond-shaped" structure, drawing on the detailed aesthetic beauty of the diamond's gradual radiance, layers, radiation, and diffusion. Artistic curves overlap and interweave with the lake surface, as if the water of the Xiangjiang River is slowly rising, condensing the wisdom and future of Wangcheng District into a diamond that leaps above the river, shining and lively. The bridge tower is round and full, steady, and graceful in form.

The Xiangluzhou Bridge is a single-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 300 meters. It adopts a continuous rigid-frame bridge design. The main tower is 202 meters high, the highest among river-crossing bridges in the Xiangjiang River basin. It can accommodate 3,000-tonne vessels, and is the first bridge over the Xiangjiang River designed to Grade I waterway standards.
