On the 11th, the reporter learned from the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as: Aerospace Science and Technology Sixth Academy) that the "Track 1000", China's highest-capacity vehicle-mounted liquid hydrogen system independently developed by the academy's 101st Institute, was officially released. This product is one of the core pieces of equipment for liquid hydrogen heavy trucks, has achieved full domestic production, and will help hydrogen-powered heavy trucks break through a driving range of 1,000 kilometers. It is a major technological breakthrough in China's application of liquid hydrogen to the transportation sector.

According to the introduction, as China's first 100-kilogram-class vehicle-mounted liquid hydrogen system, compared with the previous generation product, under the same external dimensions, its effective volume has increased by 20%, and its hydrogen-carrying capacity has been raised to the 100-kilogram class. Parameters such as the system's gravimetric hydrogen storage density and refueling time are on par with advanced international levels. Through product price-cap design, optimization of manufacturing processes, and strengthening of supply chain management, the cost has been reduced by more than 30% compared with the previous generation product, giving it a significant cost advantage over high-pressure gaseous hydrogen systems. After mass production and manufacturing, costs are expected to be further substantially reduced.

During product research, development, and manufacturing, relying on the key component and system-level testing system for vehicle-mounted liquid hydrogen systems built by the 101st Institute of the Aerospace Science and Technology Sixth Academy, various liquid hydrogen tests and verifications were carried out to ensure stable product quality, safety, and reliability.

The Aerospace Science and Technology Sixth Academy stated that the successful development of this system is an important practice in vigorously developing new quality productive forces in new energy and promoting the building of a strong transportation country. With mass production and demonstration application of the product, the development level of China's liquid hydrogen heavy trucks can be raised to a new stage, providing an important technical and equipment foundation for promoting the transformation of the national energy structure and practicing green and low-carbon transportation, and strongly boosting the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
