On May 8, after 28 hours of arduous effort, the electric passenger train successfully entered Fengwan Station, the terminal point of the hot-slide test, marking the successful completion of the catenary hot-slide test along the entire Northeast Section of the first phase of Zhengzhou Metro Line 6.

The Northeast Section of the first phase of Line 6 starts at Fengwan Station in Zhongyuan District and ends at Tsinghua High School Station in Zhengdong New District, with a total length of approximately 26.4 kilometers and 18 stations, all of which are underground.

The catenary hot-slide test is conducted with the catenary energized, running an electric passenger train to verify whether the current collection between the pantograph and the catenary is in good condition; it also serves to inspect the overall operation of the traction power supply system.

To ensure the smooth progress of the catenary hot-slide test, Zhengzhou Metro Group and all participating construction units organized the work scientifically and made meticulous arrangements, preparing the hot-slide test plan and various emergency response plans in advance, holding a briefing session on the hot-slide test, and carrying out pre-condition verification and other work.

During the catenary hot-slide test, on-site technical personnel operated strictly in accordance with the plan, while relevant staff supervised and stood on duty at all key positions to ensure the smooth conduct of the hot-slide test. After the test, the results showed that the vehicle's current collection was in good condition and the power supply equipment operated normally, meeting the conditions for train operation.

The completion of the catenary hot-slide test means that the Northeast Section of the first phase of Line 6 now meets the conditions for carrying out dynamic train testing, and the line will subsequently enter the dynamic testing phase step by step.
