Recently, the "List of Key Projects of Luzhou City for 2024" was officially issued. This year, Luzhou City will implement a total of 361 municipal key engineering construction projects, with a total investment of 701.59 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 115.03 billion yuan. Among them, there are 146 projects under construction, 137 newly started projects, and 78 preliminary projects.

In terms of classification, the 361 municipal key projects mainly include five major categories: industrial projects, infrastructure projects, urban construction projects, social undertakings and livelihood projects, and ecological and environmental protection projects. Among them, there are 164 industrial projects, 78 infrastructure projects, 46 urban construction projects, 52 social undertakings and livelihood projects, and 21 ecological and environmental protection projects.

Specifically, industrial projects are the "highlight," accounting for more than 40%. Among them, the Luzhou Laojiao Intelligent Brewing Technical Transformation Project will complete site leveling, protective works, and the foundation construction of two brewing workshops, a raw and auxiliary materials workshop, a liquor warehouse, and other supporting facilities this year, and will start main structure construction. The Luxian Shenxianqiao Chemical Park Construction Project will complete the construction of a resource utilization production line for oil-based drill cuttings and oily waste this year, and carry out the construction of production lines for amantadine hydrochloride and derivatives, alkyne alcohol products, and an integrated new material project for industrial gas island coupled medical and food electronic specialty gases. The Luyongjiang Modern Agricultural Ecological Innovation Demonstration Park Project will start construction this year of an agricultural product processing park integrating production and sales, scientific research, commerce and trade, cultural tourism, and other functions.

Among infrastructure and urban construction projects, the Luzhou Rongshan River Crossing Channel Project (Rongshan Yangtze River Bridge) and the Luzhou Section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway will be completed and opened to traffic this year. The supporting infrastructure project for the construction of Luzhou Port-Type National Logistics Hub City will complete the main construction of the Longmatan District Airport Logistics Industrial Park, the urban and rural cold chain logistics processing base, and the bulk commodity trading center this year, and will start construction of the Shuangjia Station Logistics Center. The Gulin County Guankou Reservoir Project will start construction this year.

Among social undertakings and livelihood projects and ecological and environmental protection projects, the Xuyong County Compulsory Education School Reconstruction and Expansion Project will build new and reconstruct and expand school buildings, sports fields, roads, walls, and other facilities of compulsory education schools such as Xushi Primary School this year. The Shandong Provincial Hospital Luzhou Hospital Construction Project will complete the main structural building and part of the decoration this year. The China Liquor City Craftsmanship Base Project (Phase I) will complete the construction of the public practical training base and the main construction of the chemical practical training base this year, and will carry out the construction of the new materials practical training base, the red culture block, and the interconnection and roads of the Western Craftsman City. Baimu Creek Ecological Park will basically be completed this year.

It is worth mentioning that among the 361 key projects of Luzhou City announced, 27 are key projects of Sichuan Province, including 18 continued projects and 9 newly started projects, with a planned total investment of 185.13 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 32.51 billion yuan. These include the Luzhou Automobile Key Parts Production Base Project, the Luzhou Risheng Technology High-Grade Copper Foil Project, the Luxian Shenxianqiao Chemical Park Project, and the supporting infrastructure project for the Luzhou Port-Type National Logistics Hub City.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Luzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission, next, the commission will firmly establish the concept of "projects as the priority," tighten and consolidate target responsibilities, strengthen factor guarantees, orderly advance listed supervision, promote the accelerated construction of major projects, and better leverage the key role of investment in the sustained recovery and improvement of the economy and high-quality development.
