On April 29, the right-line shield of the section from Wangchunqiao Station to Tianyijiayuan West Station on Ningbo Metro Line 6 was launched. The right-line tunnel in this section is 1,224.581 m long, with 2 cross passages, a buried depth of 17.8–25.7 m, a minimum horizontal curve radius of 330 m, and a maximum longitudinal slope of 27‰. The shield will pass through various strata, including silty clay and mucky silty clay. It runs northeastward from Wangchunqiao Station, passes beneath Dongchuan River, passes alongside the pile foundations of the Airport Road Viaduct and the Tongtu Road Viaduct, passes beneath the tunnel of Metro Line 8, and is finally received at Tianyijiayuan West Station.

In the face of major difficulties in shield construction, such as launching at a large buried depth and on a small curve, a 500-meter long-distance close-range side crossing of a viaduct, and passing beneath an existing metro line and residential areas, the Hongrun team made careful plans and optimized parameters to ensure the efficient completion of the construction task.
