During the May Day holiday, at the water conservancy construction sites in Wudi County, frontline builders worked tirelessly, shedding sweat to paint a new picture of "Water-Rhymed Wudi."

At present, the water conservancy projects are in their "golden period" of construction. Construction units across the county have reversed their schedules and are fighting according to plan, with busy scenes at the construction sites presenting a "May Day construction" picture.

It is reported that the county's urban drainage facility upgrading and renovation project has a planned total investment of 297.52 million yuan. It mainly addresses the problem of easy waterlogging in urban areas through engineering measures such as upgrading drainage facilities in residential compounds, upgrading and renovating municipal pipeline network drainage facilities, and water system treatment along Dixin Ninth Road. At present, the project has completed the pouring of the pump room of the drainage pumping station and 5 kilometers of water system treatment, and the project will be fully completed before June 15.

Interviews revealed that construction projects across the county are accelerating. The county's East Reservoir project, with an approved total investment of 456.1333 million yuan, has completed 90% of its first phase; the Chengkou Reservoir capacity expansion project, with a total investment of approximately 373.4367 million yuan, has been fully completed; and the water quality improvement and main pipeline upgrade project of the Wudi County urban and rural water supply facility upgrading project, as well as the comprehensive treatment project for the upper reaches of the Dehuixin River basin, are proceeding in an orderly manner.
