On May 6, the reporter learned from Shanghai-Kunming Railway Passenger Dedicated Line Guizhou Co., Ltd. that at 23:00 on May 5, after 3 hours of continuous pouring, the cantilever cast-in-place continuous beam of the Beihuan Line Grand Bridge on the newly built Liupanshui Panzhou-Xingyi Railway was successfully closed, marking that the beam erection construction of the entire Panxing Railway has been completed and entered a critical stage.

The Beihuan Line Grand Bridge of the Panxing Railway is located in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, with a total length of about 861 meters and a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Piers 17# to 20# of the bridge are double-track continuous box girders, with a total beam length of about 105 meters.

The newly built Panzhou-Xingyi Railway starts from Panzhou Station of the Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line, passes through Shiqiao Town, Xiangshui Town, and Baotian Town in Panzhou, and Qingshuihe in Xingyi, and reaches Wanfenglin Airport, where Xingyi South Station is set up. The design speed is 250 kilometers per hour, and bridges and tunnels account for about 90% of the line length.

After the project is completed, Guizhou Province will achieve "high-speed rail access in every city," and the travel time from Guiyang to the administrative centers of all cities and prefectures will be shortened to 1 to 2 hours. This is of great significance for comprehensively accelerating development in the western Guizhou region, where ethnic minorities live in concentrated communities.
