New Hefei West Railway Station's railway-related road network is being pushed forward at full speed, with the Qingxi Road surface road planned to open to traffic in October; the Hefei Public Health Medical Center has passed structural acceptance and, once operational, will meet the medical needs of the eastern region... During the May Day holiday, at the sites of multiple municipal key projects in Hefei, project teams refreshed their "progress bars" through hard work.

　　Construction of the South Second Ring Road West Extension advances across multiple bid sections
　　The South Second Ring Road West Extension (West Second Ring Road–Yonghe Road) is an important node in Hefei's "five horizontal and seven vertical" expressway network skeleton system and a major transportation infrastructure construction project.
　　The project starts at the West Second Ring Road in the east, passes through Hehuan Road, Yulan Avenue, and Mingchuan Road, and ends at Chuangxin Avenue in the west, with a total length of about 10 kilometers. During the May Day holiday, 860 builders carried out construction in an orderly manner, including pipeline relocation, elevated bridges, utility tunnels, and surface road reconstruction.
　　As of now, multiple bid sections are being actively advanced.
　　Once completed, the project will greatly broaden the connection routes between Feixi County and the High-tech Zone and the main urban area and Government Affairs District, and improve the current traffic congestion on surrounding roads such as the West Second Ring Road, Jixian Road, and Yulan Avenue.

　　Railway-related road network improved in the New Hefei West Railway Station area
　　As the railway-related municipal road network in the New Hefei West Railway Station area, the Qingxi Road and Silihe Road connecting ramp projects are located on the north side of New Hefei West Railway Station.
　　Among them, the Qingxi Road route has a total length of about 945 meters; the Silihe Road connecting ramp (Silihe Road–Qingxi Road section) runs parallel along the railway, connecting the Silihe Road elevated road to the north and the north drop-off platform of New Hefei West Railway Station to the south, with a total length of about 1,100 meters; it mainly includes surface roads, entrance and exit passages, the mainline bridge, 13 ramp bridges, and road drainage works.
　　During the May Day holiday, all project department personnel stayed at their posts, kept a close eye on node targets, and worked hard to advance the project, ensuring that all works are completed on schedule.
　　A person from the Municipal Key Engineering Bureau project said that as of the May Day holiday, the upper structure of bridges, road drainage, and ancillary works were being fully advanced, and 75% of the total project volume had been completed, with the Qingxi Road surface road planned to open to traffic in October.
　　Once completed, the project will help relieve traffic pressure on New Hefei West Railway Station, enable a hub layout with fast entry and exit, meet the need for rapid gathering and distribution of traffic at New Hefei West Railway Station, and facilitate travel for Hefei citizens.

　　Steel structure installed at the province's integrated air-ground-rail hub
　　The Hefei Xinqiao International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Center project has a total construction area of about 330,600 ㎡ and is planned to introduce the Hefei-Xinqiao-Lu'an intercity railway and Hefei Airport Line S1. It is the province's **large comprehensive transportation hub facility integrating aviation, high-speed rail, subway, and other air-ground-rail modes.
　　During the May Day holiday, the project department organized forces to carry out processes on the key route, including mass concrete pouring for the base slab of the Hefei-Xinqiao-Lu'an intercity railway and steel structure installation for the comprehensive transportation center.
　　The person in charge of the Anhui Road and Bridge project introduced that construction did not stop this May Day, and more than 1,000 people stayed at their posts on the project.
　　Once completed, the project will provide more ample and convenient aviation transport support for the economic and social development of Anhui Province, and add a new engine for building the *** airport cluster and creating "Anhui on Wings."

　　Hefei Public Health Medical Center passes structural acceptance
　　The Hefei Public Health Medical Center construction project is located in Cuozhen Town, Feidong County, Hefei City, at the southeast corner of the intersection of Yaogang Road and Huangfu Mountain Road, with a total construction area of 112,064 ㎡. The construction content includes the outpatient and medical technology building, comprehensive ward building, fever clinic building, general infection building, comprehensive management building, and other individual buildings.
　　At present, all main structures of the project have been topped out, and the project has successfully passed structural acceptance and officially entered the stage of decoration, installation, and outdoor works construction.
　　During the May Day holiday, project management personnel and workers stayed at their posts and will strictly implement various safety management measures, strictly control on-site work safety, and fully advance the project schedule.
　　Once completed, Hefei will have a new tertiary general hospital to meet the medical needs of citizens in the eastern region. During epidemics, it can also be converted as a whole into a public health prevention and treatment hospital, filling shortcomings in medical care and safeguarding people's health.

　　Anhui Baixi City fully advances exterior facade construction
　　The Anhui Baixi City project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Huanhu North Road and Yungu Road in Binhu New Area, with a total construction area of about 40,792 ㎡.
　　The main construction content includes a 1,320-seat professional acrobatics theater, a 546-seat local opera small theater, a 433-seat comprehensive small theater, rehearsal and management and other supporting ancillary rooms, as well as an underground garage, civil air defense facilities, and equipment rooms.
　　During this year's May Day holiday, the project's main structure had been completed, and exterior facade construction was being fully advanced.
　　As a key project in Anhui Province, Anhui Baixi City is an important carrier for promoting cultural and artistic exchange and showcasing the city's charm, and is of great significance for improving the level of urban public cultural services and meeting citizens' growing spiritual and cultural needs.
