At the construction site of the first phase of the Nanshan Smart Manufacturing Honghualing Industrial Park—a 100-meter-tall prefabricated "skyscraper factory" located on Liuxian Avenue in Nanshan District—nearly 1,200 builders worked in division and close cooperation, strictly following safety operation procedures to ensure every construction stage meets high-quality and efficient standards, striving to achieve the project's completion goal by the end of 2024. This is a key construction project under the model of "government-led + state-owned enterprise guidance + benefit coordination + market operation," and also a demonstration project of "industry upstairs." "After completion, the project will gather high-end manufacturing enterprises such as biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, and big data, building an industrial cluster highland that gathers high-end intellectual elements," said Wang Gang, chief commander of the Honghualing project of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau.

At the construction site of the Technology Union Building project, only 2.5 kilometers away from the Honghualing Industrial Park, builders under the command of project chief engineer Shen Lang coordinated in an orderly manner and operated skillfully at a height of 100 meters, challenging the 250-meter target node. As the first attempt of the "joint upstairs" model, the project has a total height of 307.2 meters and is currently seizing the golden construction season to fully accelerate project construction.

At the construction site of the Shenzhen Bao'an Workers' Cultural Palace project, more than 200 builders are on the front line focusing on quality, ensuring safety, and promoting production. They gave up rest time and worked overtime, interpreting with practical actions the spirit that labor is the most glorious, the most noble, and the greatest. As a cultural project key created by the Bao'an District Federation of Trade Unions, the Bao'an Workers' Cultural Palace aims to provide a comprehensive service venue integrating cultural entertainment, education and training, and sports activities for the broad masses of workers. In the future, this place will become a new landmark for cultural activities of workers in Bao'an District. "At present, the project has entered the main structure construction and decoration stage and is scheduled for completion in January 2025," said the person in charge of the Shenzhen Bao'an Workers' Cultural Palace project of China Construction First Building Group.

The Pingxi International Low-Carbon City project, located in Longgang District, Shenzhen, has a total construction area of 390,000 square meters. It is a ** land consolidation benefit coordination project in Longgang District. After completion, it will become an important spatial carrier driving Longgang's industrial transformation and urban upgrading, creating a "low-carbon+" industrial new city model. "At present, the main structure of Plot 01 of the project has been topped out, and the overall project has entered the fine decoration and mechanical and electrical installation stage. More than 200 workers are constructing on site. The project is expected to complete completion acceptance in June 2025," said Cao Heng, project manager of the Pingxi Innovation Plaza of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau.

At the construction site of the second phase of the Qinghu Cultural Industrial Park, builders wearing safety helmets shuttled among steel bars and concrete. In the emergency command center, Zhang Yang, safety director of the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau project, checked construction progress, safety risks, personnel status, and other conditions in real time through the information management platform, promptly grasping dynamic project safety information. "The project is in a stage of vigorous advancement. Quality and safety must be managed together, and neither can be missing. We must not relax our vigilance even during holidays," Zhang Yang said. As one of the first batch of "industry upstairs" pilot projects in Longhua District, after completion, the project will be built into a new digital creative industry cluster integrating modern information technology and cultural creative industries.

By the shore of Xili Lake and at the foot of Yangtai Mountain, builders of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau are advancing the Yangtai Shuyuan project with a sense of urgency that admits no delay; at the construction sites of the Dalang Culture and Art Center and Dalang Sports Center projects in Longhua District, Shenzhen, known as the Dalang "Twin Stars," material trucks and aerial work vehicles shuttle continuously, and welding machines and cutting machines operate nonstop. Workers are stepping up construction, and the project has entered the main structure decoration stage.

As the ** under-construction high-rise in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Urban Construction Luohu Super High-Rise project is under vigorous construction, and this future "new landmark of Luohu" is accelerating its rise toward the city skyline.

"At present, the height of the project's main structure has exceeded 200 meters, and it is expected to complete the topping out of the core tube structure of the 83-story, 407-meter-high tower before the end of this year," said Zou Hongzeng, person in charge of the Shenzhen Urban Construction Luohu Super High-Rise project of the Third Company of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau. "Forty years ago, in the construction of the Shenzhen International Trade Center, we created the 'Shenzhen Speed' of 'one floor every three days,' writing a synonym for reform and opening up. Forty years later today, we are still on this hot land of Luohu District, striving to build the ** under-construction high-rise in Shenzhen. The times are changing, and technology is changing, but our original aspiration as builders remains unchanged. Now we are using ** green construction, smart construction, and lean construction techniques to build another excellent project with our own hands and contribute to the development of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone."
