The Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Observatory forecasts that from today to the morning of May 1, northern Guangdong, the Pearl River Delta, and eastern Guangdong counties and cities will have torrential to heavy torrential rain, with locally extremely heavy torrential rain; the Leizhou Peninsula will be cloudy to clear; the remaining counties and cities will have heavy rain, locally torrential rain.

During the daytime of May 1, southern Guangdong counties and cities will have heavy to torrential rain; northern Guangdong will be cloudy with scattered showers; the remaining counties and cities will see moderate to heavy rain turning to showers.

From the night of May 1 to May 2, Pearl River Delta counties and cities will have heavy to torrential rain, locally heavy torrential rain; the remaining counties and cities will have moderate to heavy rain, locally torrential rain.
