Since the beginning of this year, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has strictly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, seized the current golden period for construction, rapidly set off a boom in project construction, strengthened factor guarantees, worked against the clock, tackled difficulties, and gone all out to ensure quality, safety, and progress, steadily advancing the construction of key urban construction projects.

　　Southeast Outer Ring Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project
　　The project starts at Taihang East Street and ends at Guangming Road. The total length of the project is about 11.6 kilometers, the road red line width is 55 meters, and it has six lanes in both directions. Along the entire line, there are 2 interchange overpasses (Fuhou Street Interchange and Guangming Road Interchange), 5 overpass bridges (Zijin East Street, Jiefang East Street, Taiyue Avenue, Luyangmen Road, and Yan'an South Road), 2 underpass passages (Changgang Railway Special Line and Yingxiong Road), 1 branch overpass bridge (East Street), and 5 pedestrian overpasses. It is a key project connecting the eastern cluster of our city and smoothing the city's major traffic artery. At present, 67% of the total project volume has been completed. The main road of the East Outer Ring section has been fully opened to traffic, and part of the auxiliary road is under construction. It is expected that all work will be completed and traffic conditions reached before May 30.

　　Dehuamen West Extension Road Construction Project
　　The road starts at Tianwanji South Road in the east, crosses Zhangzimeng Park along the route, passes over the Heishui River and intersects at grade with the existing Weiyuanmen Road and Huafeng South Road and West Ring Road, then extends west to Jing 23rd Road, with a total length of about 2.398 kilometers. The total investment of the project is 452.3868 million yuan. Construction started on March 5, 2024, and is planned to be completed by the end of February 2025.

　　Guancun Area Supporting Municipal Road Construction Project
　　The Guancun area supporting municipal road construction project includes two roads: the Shiyan North Road construction project (Beihuan Street-Guancun South Street), with a road length of about 629 meters; and the Tai'an Street construction project (Luyangmen Road-Shiyan North Road), with a road length of about 415 meters. The total investment of the project is 75.7832 million yuan. Construction resumed on February 22, 2024. 65% of the total project volume has been completed, and it is planned to be completed by the end of May 2024.

　　Chaoyang Area Supporting Municipal Road Construction Project
　　The project includes two roads: the Shangjing 5th Road construction project (Ze Street-Shangwei 2nd Street), with a total road length of 414 meters; and the Wei 1st Street construction project (East Ring Road-Shangjing 5th Road), with a total road length of 486.5 meters. The total investment of the project is 70.6815 million yuan. Construction resumed on February 29, 2024. 15% of the total project volume has been completed, and it is planned to be completed by the end of June 2024.
　　Wei 11th West Road Construction Project (West Ring Road-Planned Zhanqian Road)
　　The road red line control width is 16 meters, and the total road length is about 444.358 meters. The total investment of the project is 25.3713 million yuan. Construction started on October 6, 2023. 75% of the total project volume has been completed, and it is planned to be completed by the end of May 2024.

　　Luyangmen Road (Jiefang East Street--Zijin East Street) Rainwater and Sewage Diversion Reconstruction Project
　　The project starts at Jiefang East Street in the south and ends at Zijin East Street in the north. The existing DN800--DN1000mm combined pipeline and the 1.0x1.5m brick arch culvert are retained and used as sewage pipes. A new 2.87-kilometer DN800-DN1500mm main rainwater pipeline will be built and discharged in sections along the road slope into East Street, Shizi River, and the existing rainwater box culvert on Zijin East Street. The total investment of the project is 84.0294 million yuan. Construction started on November 5, 2023, and is planned to be completed by the end of August 2023.
