On April 21, as a 41.5-meter reinforcement cage was lowered smoothly into the trench through the coordinated operation of the main and auxiliary cranes, the civil works Section 1 of the western section of Phase I of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 20 began construction of the first diaphragm wall at Jinchang Road Station, marking that Jinchang Road Station has officially entered the construction stage of the main retaining structure.

Before the construction of the first diaphragm wall, the Third Branch, together with the design, construction, and supervision units, formulated the "first-piece system" standards, and construction was carried out strictly in accordance with the standards during the construction process.

Jinchang Road Station is the starting station of the western section of Phase I of Line 20. It is located in the plot on the west side of the intersection of Jinchang Road and Jiaotong Road and is arranged in an east-west direction along Jinchang Road. The station is a two-level underground island-type station, with a main body 492 meters long and 19.6 meters wide, and a total building area of 26,384.6 square meters. The station is adjacent to operating railways such as the Shanghai-Kunming Line, Beijing-Shanghai Line, and Shanghai-Nanjing Line, posing high lifting and hoisting risks. The Third Branch overcame difficulties and coordinated with multiple parties. Through careful deployment and strict control, it successfully completed the construction of the first diaphragm wall, laying the foundation for subsequent main structure construction.
