On the morning of April 25, the first track panel was installed in the section from Anlifang Road Station to Panwang Road Station (project name) on Jinan Rail Transit Line 8, marking the official start of track laying on Line 8.

It is reported that since the start of construction on Line 8, all participating units have organized construction scientifically, strengthened resource allocation, strictly controlled management measures, and advanced various construction tasks efficiently and orderly. This track laying started 20 days earlier than the construction plan at the beginning of the year. To further accelerate progress, track laying on Line 8 adopts the "scattered laying method," with four track-laying points set up in the elevated section for construction. More than 60 workers have entered the site so far, and additional construction personnel will be added successively according to the construction plan.

Base treatment, measurement and setting out, track panel assembly, rebar tying, fine track adjustment... The track-laying construction process is complex. To ensure construction quality, the construction unit China Communications Construction Company formulated a special construction plan and conducted comprehensive training for construction personnel. Jinan Rail Transit Group, in accordance with the quality control measures of "testing first, first-piece evaluation, sample leading" and licensed acceptance, strengthened control over all construction stages to ensure that construction quality meets requirements. During track laying, construction personnel will adjust the rails five times, achieving precision down to the millimeter level, to ensure train operation safety and smooth passenger rides.

At present, construction has started at all 14 stations along Line 8. Among them, five shield machines in the underground section are advancing steadily, and single-line breakthrough has been completed in the ** section; in the elevated section, 78% of U-shaped girders have been prefabricated, and more than half have been erected.

Next, all participating units on Line 8 will closely focus on the city's "Project Deepening Year" deployment requirements, seize the "golden period" of construction, strengthen the input of personnel, equipment, and other factors, make full use of time and occupy all available space, achieve seamless connection of all construction stages, strive hard in the second quarter, and ensure the completion of construction task objectives.
