The Market Supervision Administration of Xinzhou District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province issued a situation report on April 26, stating that a video of "an elderly person being charged a 10-yuan stall fee while selling goods at a street stall" had recently drawn attention. The Xinzhou District Market Supervision Administration attached great importance to the matter and promptly launched an investigation.

　　According to the investigation, the elderly person, surnamed Lin, was selling agricultural products such as bamboo shoots and eggs at the Qingfeng Road intersection mentioned in the video circulating online at around 10:30 a.m. on April 24, and left at about 11:00. During this period, no organization collected any fees from him. Upon inquiry with the elderly person, it was learned that at around 9:00 a.m. that day, in the self-produced and self-sold section of the Shengli Road Farmers Market, the market property management company had collected a 10-yuan stall fee from him.

　　The report stated that the incident reflected problems such as the market property management company's inadequate services for special groups. At present, the Xinzhou District Market Supervision Administration has ordered the property management company to apologize to the elderly person and refund the fees collected.
