The (48+80+48)-meter prestressed concrete continuous box girder closed this time is an important component of the extra-large bridge over the Dianbu River on the reconstructed right line of the Hefei-Nanjing bypass (with a total length of 2,609.79 meters) of the Hefei hub introduction project of the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei HSR, and is also the ** continuous girder closed in this bid section, located on the critical route of the girder erection passage. The continuous girder is constructed in 20 standard segments, using 2 pairs of diamond-shaped form travelers for segmental cantilever casting, with a total concrete volume of 1,866.2 cubic meters.

The Hefei hub introduction project of the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei HSR is located within Feidong County and Yaohai District of Hefei City, with a main line length of 22.35 kilometers, including 11 extra-large bridges and 6 large bridges. The newly built railway in this bid section crosses over the Hefei-Chaohu-Wuhu Expressway and passes under the Hefei-Hangzhou HSR, and the reconstruction construction of existing railways such as Feidong Station is adjacent to multiple operating lines. The project construction is characterized by difficult organization and coordination, high safety risks, cumbersome construction procedures, and great engineering difficulty.

To ensure the smooth closure of the continuous girder, the project construction management unit, the Hefei Railway Hub Project Construction Command, organized China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group and other participating units to plan ahead, carefully formulate construction plans, carry out special training and safety technical briefings in advance, strengthen on-site resource allocation, and adopt information-based means for quality and safety control, completing the construction task safely, orderly, and efficiently according to the schedule.

The Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei HSR is an important component of the Yangtze River corridor in the "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" national medium- and long-term railway network plan. It is a fast and direct channel between the cities along the north bank of the Yangtze River and the Nanjing metropolitan area and the Shanghai metropolitan area, and undertakes the transport of main network passenger flows along the Yangtze River corridor as well as part of the through passenger flows from the coastal and Beijing-Shanghai corridors to Shanghai. After the project is completed, it is of great significance for optimizing the railway network layout in the Yangtze River region, serving the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and promoting high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
