On April 22, as the shield machine cutterhead slowly rotated, the company's first shield machine "Fuxing No. 3" for the Shijiazhuang Metro Line 4 project was successfully launched on the section from Shilipu West Street Station to Fuxing Road Station, marking that the project has fully entered the shield tunneling construction stage.

The right line of the section from Shilipu West Street Station to Fuxing Road Station launched this time is 1,669.121 meters long. The longitudinal profile of the line presents a "V"-shaped slope, with a maximum gradient of 27‰. The geology of the section consists of loess-like silty clay, fine silty sand, medium-coarse sand, silty clay, and layered silty clay. The hydrogeological conditions are complex, with high safety risks and great difficulty.

Since entering the site, the project has overcome difficulties such as the great difficulty in coordinating with multiple units along the line for traffic, greening, and power, as well as complex underground pipelines. It has continuously optimized construction organization, rationally allocated resources, and, in accordance with the first-piece construction concept of "planning first, implementation later; first piece first, promotion later," carried out various pre-construction briefings and technical quality training. To ensure the smooth launch of the shield machine this time, the project reversed the construction schedule and, in light of key and difficult construction points and the risk sources of shield crossing, prepared special construction plans for shield machine hoisting, shield launching, and tunneling. In the equipment selection stage, detailed analysis was conducted in combination with section geology, construction risks, and other factors, and an expert team was organized to fully demonstrate and study the selection and finalization of the shield machine. During the stages of shield machine lowering into the shaft, installation and commissioning, and trial operation, management personnel were on site to supervise the entire process.
