Recently, it was learned from the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission that, in order to continuously consolidate support for high-quality projects and continuously plan and reserve a batch of major projects that bear on the overall strategic situation of Sichuan's economic and social development and long-term development, Sichuan Province has recently officially issued the "2024 List of Key Projects in Sichuan Province to Accelerate Preliminary Work," selecting and including 330 major engineering projects planned to start construction in the next 2 to 3 years, with an estimated total investment of 2.15 trillion yuan.

　　Among them, from the perspective of industry sectors, there are 130 infrastructure projects with an estimated total investment of 1,312.78 billion yuan, mainly involving transportation, energy, water conservancy and other fields, including major projects such as Neijiang Airport, the Guangyuan-Bazhong Railway Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project, the Chuanzhusi-Hongyuan Expressway, the Panxi UHV AC Project, and the Tuojiang Tuanjie Water Conservancy Hub Project. There are 167 industrial projects with an estimated total investment of 781.12 billion yuan, including major projects such as the Mianyang Tianhui Aerospace Science and Technology Park, Tongwei Co., Ltd.'s solar cell project, and the Muli Lithium Mine Mining, Processing and Tailing Project in Yajiang County. There are 26 livelihood projects and social undertaking projects with an estimated total investment of 51.97 billion yuan, including major projects such as the National Stomatology Center of West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, the Sichuan Rural Revitalization Industry-Education Integration Demonstration Base, and the Pilo Site Park Protection Project. There are 7 ecological construction and environmental protection projects with an estimated total investment of 7.28 billion yuan, including major projects such as the comprehensive treatment of the Chishui River Basin (Gulin Section) and the Shehong Urban Domestic Sewage Treatment and Supporting Infrastructure Project.

　　From the perspective of project investment scale, there are 61 projects with an estimated total investment of more than 10 billion yuan, including major projects such as the Shiqu-Chenduo Expressway (Sichuan Section) and the Zizhong County Shale Gas Local Conversion and Comprehensive Utilization Base. Among them, there are 10 projects with an estimated total investment of more than 30 billion yuan, including major projects such as the first phase of the Chengdu Outer Ring Railway, the Qingchuan-Jiange-Langzhong Expressway, and the Guanziba Reservoir and Irrigation District Project; there are 21 projects with an estimated total investment of more than 20 billion yuan, including major projects such as the Lenggu Hydropower Station, the Chengdu-Ya'an Section Capacity Expansion of the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway, and the Leshan-Yingjing Expressway.

　　Next, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission will, together with relevant parties, closely focus on the construction of the 102 major engineering projects in the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the preliminary research for the "15th Five-Year Plan," and continue to plan and reserve a batch of landmark major projects that will support future development. At the same time, it will continue to implement the graded coordination mechanism for major projects and the "face-to-face office work" mechanism, promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the preliminary work of projects, and make every effort to promote engineering projects to meet the conditions for commencement of construction as soon as possible.
