On April 12, at the construction site of the comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway, tower cranes stood in clusters, machinery roared, engineering vehicles shuttled back and forth, and construction workers were spread across various work points, making every effort in construction. It was a scene of bustling activity.

Zhang Ping, project executive manager of Wuhan Municipal Engineering Mechanized Construction Co., Ltd. and the comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway, introduced that at present, the core construction area of the hub project in front of Yunxi Station is the station-front square. We optimized and adopted CFG pile composite foundations, invested more than 100 pieces of earthwork engineering machinery and equipment and pile drivers, and worked vigorously and rapidly. The foundation engineering construction has already been completed.

The comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway has a planned total investment of 1.544 billion yuan, a planned area of 834.1 mu, and a designed construction period of 27 months. The comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station consists of three individual projects: the station-front comprehensive transportation hub project, the river channel improvement and ecological restoration project, and the station access roads and regional connecting line project. The construction content of the station-front comprehensive transportation hub project mainly includes four parts: the station-front square of Yunxi Station of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway and the underground commercial parking lot, the rail transit transfer center, and the long-distance passenger transport station (also serving as a tourist service center). The total construction area is 86,501.22 square meters. The construction content includes civil engineering, pavement engineering, water supply and drainage engineering, information engineering, river channel reconstruction, and roads, among other projects.

Zhang Ping, project executive manager of Wuhan Municipal Engineering Mechanized Construction Co., Ltd. and the comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway, introduced that in the second quarter, the project will enter the construction stage of the basement structure of the station-front hub square. We have made advance arrangements by zones and blocks, put six construction teams into full-load operation, with about 300 workers constructing at the same time, adopted disc-lock scaffolding with higher safety and faster construction efficiency, increased cost input, and made technical and material preparations such as flood-season emergency plans and mass concrete pouring measures, to ensure that the main structure of the station-front hub square is completed by the end of this year, while also completing part of the decoration works.

The comprehensive transportation hub project in front of Yunxi Station is a comprehensive transportation passenger hub integrating various transportation facilities such as railway, public buses, long-distance transport, social vehicles, and taxis. It is not only one of the most important nodes for regional external transportation, but also an important public transportation node, and the center of various land-use activities in the surrounding areas.

After the station-front square project of Yunxi Station is completed, it will achieve integrated connection of multiple comprehensive transportation modes in Yunxi County, which is of great significance for enhancing the status of Yunxi County as a comprehensive transportation hub, promoting regional resource integration, and optimizing the urban spatial layout.
