This year, Jiangsu Province has arranged 510 major provincial construction projects, including 450 implementation projects and 60 reserve projects, with an annual planned investment of 640.8 billion yuan. "Since the project started, multiple departments including the Major Projects Office of Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and Damiao Subdistrict have coordinated and linked up to provide us with all-factor, full-process services in procedure handling, construction, and factor guarantees, opening up a green channel. At present, the project has entered the sprint stage of commissioning and is expected to achieve partial production in mid-April. In 2024, Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone has 9 projects listed as major provincial projects, including 7 newly started projects. In the first quarter, 6 projects achieved construction start, with a start rate of 85.7%; it has 27 major municipal implementation projects, including 22 newly started projects. All 14 projects planned to start in the first quarter have started, with a start rate of 100%. Among the 8 projects planned to start in the second quarter, 6 projects have started, including Zhongneng's 80,000-ton granular silicon, Zhonghuan's large silicon wafer Phase II, and Nhwa Pharmaceutical's solid preparations.

The project of 400,000 sets (units) per year of robots and supporting products invested and constructed by Nanjing Inovance Technology Co., Ltd. currently has about 11,000 square meters in the renovation part, which has been completed and occupied for office use. The newly built plant has been completed, equipment is being installed, and production is expected to begin in May this year. After reaching full capacity, it can produce 280,000 sets of lead screws and 120,000 robots annually, with an annual output value of about 2 billion yuan.
This year, among Nanjing Jiangning District's 8 major provincial projects, 7 have applied to start (resume) construction, with a start (resumption) rate of 87.5%; 2 are newly started projects, with a start rate of 66.7%. The start rate is expected to reach 100% in the first half of the year. The start rate of 83 major municipal projects is 88%, among which the start rate of newly started projects is 77%, the highest in previous years.

Walking into the Tongfu integrated circuit advanced packaging and testing production base in Chongchuan District, Nantong City, the site is bustling, and the atmosphere of going all out to sprint for a good start is palpable. This project is a tens-of-billions-level major project in Chongchuan District, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan, including two sub-projects: Tongfu Tongke and Tongfu Tongda.
Wu Pinzhong, general manager of the plant affairs center of Tongfu Microelectronics, introduced that the Tongfu Tongke project achieved taxable sales revenue of 340 million yuan in the first quarter of this year and is expected to achieve taxable sales revenue of 1.5 billion yuan for the whole year. The Tongfu Tongda project has a total investment of 7.5 billion yuan, with main products covering advanced integrated circuit packaging and testing products such as 5G, memory, flip-chip, and wafer-level packaging. After reaching full capacity, it can achieve annual taxable sales of 5.6 billion yuan. On March 19 this year, the Phase I project was approved for filing, used for newly building production buildings and a 110KV substation, with a total construction area of about 66,000 square meters.
Shen Beibei, deputy director of the Chongchuan District Development and Reform Commission, introduced that in the first quarter of this year, 6 projects with investment of over 100 million yuan in Chongchuan District, including Yixintong, TE Connectivity, and Yueya Phase II, have started construction; 5 projects including wafer carriers, Meiya, and Gelubo have completed land acquisition and are stepping up handling of various approval and construction procedures; and land for projects such as Xindike, L'Oreal, and Jiejie Microelectronics is about to be listed in the near future.
