Recently, Fuzhou held the concentrated project commencement activity for the second quarter of 2024 for the whole city. A total of 186 major engineering and construction projects were launched, with a total investment of 123.8 billion yuan, involving the construction of multiple projects such as the Pingxi Residential Community and Yanta. The Pingxi Garden (Phase I) project is located on the south side of Jiangcuo Road in Gulou District, on the first plot transferred for the old renovation of the Pingxi Residential Community. It has a total investment of 2 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 920 million yuan. It is planned to build 9 resettlement-type commercial housing buildings and a supporting kindergarten. The construction period is 36 months, and completion is planned for April 2027. The Yanta No. 2 transferred plot construction project is an important component of the Fuzhou Sanbaocheng project, with a total investment of 1.586 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 900 million yuan, covering an area of 39.42 mu. The project plans to build 8 high-rise resettlement-type residential buildings and supporting facilities such as a subdistrict office and a police station, with a total construction area of 122,400 square meters. The comprehensive cancer prevention and treatment building project of the Provincial Cancer Hospital has a total construction area of 51,605.97 square meters. The old ward building will be demolished, and a new comprehensive cancer prevention and treatment building and ancillary buildings will be constructed, with 450 beds. After completion, it will further improve the medical hardware facilities and service capabilities of the cancer hospital and promote the construction of the National Regional Cancer Medical Center.

　　The Liandong U Valley Industrial Park Phase III project has a total investment of 340 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 100 million yuan, with a total construction area of 28,000 square meters. It is planned to build standalone factory buildings, multi-story factory buildings, and production service supporting facilities. The project is planned to be completed in 2026 and will be built into an intelligent manufacturing industrial base led by next-generation information technology, new energy, high-end equipment, and other sectors. The Phase I project of the EOD project in the Jinmeitan Comprehensive Supporting Functional Area of Fuzhou New Area has a total investment of approximately 2.941 billion yuan. The project covers industrial cooperation projects and comprehensive supporting facility projects, and the site selection includes major towns such as Jinfeng Town, Tantou Town, Meihua Town, and Houyu Township. The Phase II project of the Fujian Sinotrans Nantong Logistics Center is located on the southwest side of the intersection of Provincial Highway 203 and QINzhou Road in Chencuo Village, Nantong Town, with a total construction area of approximately 100,000 square meters. It is planned to build logistics warehouses and supporting facilities. In addition, three two-story Class C, Category II warehouses and two two-story Class C, Category I warehouses will be built. After completion, the project will accelerate the integration and upgrading of Nantong's existing commercial service system, strive to build a highland for innovative development of modern commercial logistics in Nantong, and contribute to supporting Fuzhou's development as a national logistics hub for commercial services.

　　As an important carrier for cross-strait integrated development, the creation of the Huan Mazu Ao Coastal Tourism Resort has made new progress. The Dongluo Island comprehensive tourism development and construction project and the Huangqi Town Gushi Village infrastructure and rural tourism supporting project have started. The project has a total investment of approximately 126 million yuan and a construction period of about 1 year. It will deeply explore the cultural connotations of the fishing village, highlight regional characteristics, and build fisherman-style restaurants, wooden cabins, viewing platforms, wooden boardwalks, as well as special offshore experience projects, farm experience picking gardens, and other related ancillary supporting facilities. The infrastructure project of the Chengnan Industrial Park in Yongtai County has a total investment of approximately 1.286 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 300 million yuan, with a total construction area of 187,188 square meters. It is planned to build 18 standardized factory buildings and supporting transportation infrastructure such as Taishan East Road, totaling 5,408 meters. After completion, the project will help Yongtai's textile and garment and building materials industries achieve large-scale, intensive, and intelligent transformation and upgrading, and further expand the county seat and strengthen industries.
