The "Academic Conference on Foundation Engineering of the Architectural Society of China (2024)", jointly hosted by the Foundation Engineering Branch of the Architectural Society of China and Zhengzhou University, is scheduled to be held in October 2024 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. With the theme of "Safe, Low-Carbon, and Intelligent Construction Leading the Innovative Development of Geotechnical Engineering", this conference aims to provide a platform for exchange for teaching, research, and frontline production technical personnel in the field of building foundation engineering in China, to exchange academic viewpoints, discuss teaching, research, and technological development directions, hot and difficult issues, summarize engineering experience, and showcase **research results. We look forward to experts and scholars from all over the country gathering together to jointly promote the theoretical innovation and technological progress of building foundation engineering in China. We are now specifically soliciting industry review articles and academic papers from experts, scholars, and engineering technical personnel in this field.

Conference Paper Topics
★ Frontiers of theory and technology for urban underground space renewal and expansion;
★ Low-carbon and intelligent construction technologies for underground engineering;
★ New theories, new technologies, new materials, new processes, and new equipment for foundation engineering;
★ Theory and practice of foundation engineering on special soils;
★ New technologies for the protection of existing buildings and foundation reinforcement;
★ New technologies for geotechnical engineering testing and monitoring;
★ New technologies for slope and geological disaster treatment;
★ Foundation problems induced by urban waterlogging and their solutions.
Conference Paper Requirements and Publication
1) Submitted papers should be specific, clear, and rigorous in content, unpublished, and consistent with the conference theme in innovative theory and technology; authors are responsible for the content, and the papers must not involve confidential information;
2) Papers should be submitted to the conference organizing committee's email address by email (Word electronic document); for paper format, refer to Attachment 1. The length of the article should generally not exceed 8,000 characters (including figures and tables), be no less than 4 pages, and in principle not exceed 6 pages. Figures and tables should be clear and data should be accurate and detailed;
3) Please be sure to indicate the author's detailed mailing address, postal code, contact telephone number, and E-mail address.‍‍
Conference papers will be published in the form of conference proceedings, formally issued by Zhengzhou University Press. All papers will be uniformly reviewed by experts organized by the society, which will decide whether to accept them and print and distribute the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will not charge page fees or review fees.

★ Paper submission deadline: May 31, 2024;
★ Date of paper acceptance notice and revision notice: June 15, 2024;
★ Date for return of revised papers: July 15, 2024.
