Recently, the bottom slab of Zone 1 at Yindu Road Station on Section 20 of the Jiamin Line of the Shanghai Suburban Railway, invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and built by China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group, was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the station's main structure.

Yindu Road Station is located at the intersection of Yindu Road and Humin Highway in Minhang District. It is an underground two-story island-type station with a total length of 829.2 meters and a standard section width of 21.8 meters, featuring 5 entrances and exits and 3 groups of ventilation pavilions. The excavation depth of the station's main foundation pit ranges from 21.1 meters to 24.9 meters, and construction is divided into 4 zones.

The east side of Yindu Road Station is adjacent to the elevated section of the existing Metro Line 5. The project site is surrounded by numerous buildings (structures) and various pipelines, with heavy traffic volume. To ensure the safety of foundation pit excavation, under the overall deployment and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team actively communicated and coordinated with the various property rights units, promptly consulted relevant construction records and drawings, and carefully carried out the layout of monitoring points. Industry experts and relevant technical personnel were organized to jointly study and demonstrate the special construction plans and protection plans, ensuring the effectiveness of all plans and risk prevention measures.

During the foundation pit excavation, the project team strictly implemented risk control, carried out all preventive measures, and conducted daily comparative analysis of monitoring data such as settlement of surrounding buildings (structures) and related areas and inclination of diaphragm walls. At present, all monitoring data indicators are within controllable limits.

The Jiamin Line has a total length of 44.04 kilometers, passing through the two administrative districts of Jiading and Minhang, with 15 stations along the entire line and a maximum operating speed of 160 kilometers per hour. According to the plan, it is an important north-south main trunk line in Shanghai's suburban railway network, a major line connecting important new towns and transportation hubs such as Jiading New Town, Hongqiao Hub, and Minhang, and an important component of the "Yangtze River Delta on Rails." After the project is completed, it will achieve interconnectivity with the Airport Link Line, greatly alleviate the collection and distribution pressure of Hongqiao Hub, and become a new engine driving the economy of western Shanghai.
