Recently, the right tube of the Sanjiawopeng Tunnel on the Benhuan Expressway, invested in and constructed by China Railway (Liaoning) Benhuan Expressway Co., Ltd. and undertaken by China Railway Beijing Engineering Group, was successfully holed through. This marks the completion of both tubes of the Sanjiawopeng Tunnel, making it the first long tunnel on the entire Benhuan Expressway line to achieve dual-tube breakthrough.

　　The Sanjiawopeng Tunnel is located in Sanjiawopeng Village, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province. Its left tube is 1,775 meters long and its right tube is 1,761 meters long. It is a separated long tunnel and a key link connecting to the Huanji Expressway.

　　The tunnel adopts high-standard information-based equipment and facilities, including a pedestrian-vehicle separation turnstile system, tunnel video monitoring system, automatic personnel positioning system, emergency voice alarm system, automatic safety step-distance monitoring system, LED intelligent display system, and automatic environmental monitoring system, thereby enhancing safety control through intelligent management facilities and greatly reducing the occurrence of safety accidents.

　　To ensure smooth tunnel construction, the project department strengthened on-site control, strictly implemented the "three inspections" system and the random inspection system, strictly prohibited entry into the next process when the previous process failed to meet standards, and conducted full-process and all-round supervision of important parts, concealed works, and key processes. Under the premise of ensuring quality, quantity, and safety, precise breakthrough was ultimately achieved smoothly.

　　According to reports, in the next step, the project department will step up planning for project construction, reverse the construction schedule, and through measures such as strengthening management and standardizing construction, ensure that construction tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and with high quality, striving for the early completion and opening of the entire line.
