According to the standard formulation and revision plan of the China Highway and Transportation Society, the China Highway and Transportation Society standards "Data Delivery Standard for BIM Collaborative Quality Control of Continuous Girder Bridges" and "Data Delivery Standard for BIM Collaborative Quality Control of Tunnels," respectively edited by Shaanxi Provincial Transport Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Chang'an University, have formed draft versions for public comment (Attachments 1 and 3). In accordance with the requirements of the "Measures for the Administration of China Highway and Transportation Society Standards (Trial)" and the "Guidelines for the Formulation and Revision Management of China Highway and Transportation Society Standards (Trial)," public comments are now being solicited. All units and individuals are requested to respond positively and provide feedback voluntarily.

The "Comment Feedback Form" (Attachments 2 and 4) must be submitted to the contact person by May 7, 2024. If no reply is received by the deadline, it will be treated as no objection. Representatives of units and individuals who provide high-quality comments will be invited as experts to attend the review meeting for the draft for examination.

Formulation process and brief introduction: The "Data Delivery Standard for BIM Collaborative Quality Control of Continuous Girder Bridges" was established as a project in July 2023 and passed the outline review in September. This standard mainly aims to regulate the requirements for collaborative application, quality control, and data delivery of continuous girder bridge information models during the bridge engineering design and construction stages. It is applicable to new construction and reconstruction/expansion projects of continuous girder bridges, and to the establishment, transfer, collaboration, and storage of collaborative quality control data during the design and construction stages based on continuous girder bridge information models.
