Currently, the bridge is under construction for Pier Cap No. 3 of the main bridge. As the pier caps of main piers No. 3 and No. 4 require a large concrete volume of over 1,200 square meters, this has increased the challenges of construction. "We are using secant piles as the foundation pit retaining piles, with a total of 40 to 50 workers. We aim to complete all the pier cap pours for the two main piers of the main bridge in groups before the flood season arrives on April 15. The entire bridge is expected to be completed by the end of 2025," said Zhou Jianhong, the project construction manager.

　　780 meters in total length; all personnel, full effort, full speed advancement

　　The Bihu Bridge reconstruction and expansion project is approximately 780 meters long and adopts the construction method of a low-tower cable-stayed main bridge. It includes the demolition of the old bridge, construction of a new bridge, road works, water supply and drainage works, and other construction content. Once the bridge is completed and open to traffic, it will be of great significance for improving the smooth flow of traffic between Provincial Road S328 and both banks of Bihu Town, driving tourism development along the route, and improving traffic conditions in Bihu New City.
