On April 15, the reporter learned from the contractor China Railway 14th Bureau Group that the Linkong Depot of the Chengdu-Ziyang Rail Transit Line has been officially put into use. This is the first metro depot in China designed with a terraced field style.

　　The reporter saw at the site that the entire depot is built along the mountain, and through a split-level terraced design, a unique aesthetic is carefully created. In particular, the comprehensive building of the depot, as the core element of the deepened design, has its first-floor lobby as the core area, connecting a series of distinctive spaces such as the elevator foyer, exhibition hall, and reception hall in an orderly manner, forming a timeline for display, exchange, and activities, and creating a striking spatial calling card for the control center.

　　The staff canteen of the depot became a popular check-in spot as soon as it was delivered for use. Following the design concept of "green and healthy, harmonious space," the canteen has a reasonable spatial layout that is both spacious and comfortable while also taking privacy into account. It not only meets functional needs but also becomes an ideal place for employees to relax and enjoy a quality life.

　　At the train inspection shed of the Linkong Depot of the Chengdu-Ziyang Rail Transit Line, Tian Li, deputy commander of the general contractor for the Chengdu-Ziyang Rail Transit Line, told the reporter that this is not only the workplace for staff, but also the "home" to which trains will return after "getting off work" every day for comprehensive "relaxation."

　　It is reported that the Chengdu-Ziyang intercity (suburban) railway is an express rail transit line connecting Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Tianfu International Airport New City, and the central urban area of Ziyang. As one of the key infrastructure projects launched by the Chengdu metropolitan area in 2024, it is expected to open for operation this year. It will shuttle between Chengdu and Ziyang, showcasing the integrated economic development and rapid changes of the two cities, creating convenience for green travel for residents along the line, and providing internal impetus for promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, the integrated development of Chengdu, Deyang, Meishan, and Ziyang, and driving regional economic growth.
