On April 11, 2024, the main construction work of the Jixin Yellow River Sanxia Bridge, a controlling project of the Jixin Expressway, was being intensively advanced, with workers carrying out construction of the bridge towers. The Jixin Yellow River Bridge is located in the Wangwushan-Daimeishan World Geopark at the junction of Jiyuan City and Xin'an County of Luoyang City in Henan Province, and is the world's first single-tower, ground-anchored, rotating-cable suspension bridge. The bridge has a main span of 510 meters and a tower height of 109 meters; designed to six-lane expressway standards, it crosses the Xiaolangdi Reservoir area of the Yellow River.

　　The Jixin Expressway project starts in the south of Shaoyuan Town, Jiyuan City, Henan Province, connecting with the Hebao Expressway; it crosses the Yellow River south of Bajiao Mountain and enters Xin'an County, and ends north of Tiemen Town, Xin'an County, linking up with the already completed and open Xinyi Expressway, with a total length of 48.5 kilometers.
 

　　Once the Jixin Expressway is completed, it will further shorten the space-time distance between cities on both sides of the Yellow River, string the rich tourism resources along the route into a chain, and be of great significance to public travel, ecological protection along the Yellow River, as well as the integration of regional tourism resources and high-quality economic and social development.
