A Total of 66 Engineering Projects in Nanchang Selected for Key Project Plan

　　A few days ago, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially issued the 2024 ** batch of provincial key engineering construction project plans. A total of 66 engineering projects in Nanchang City were selected, with a total investment of 174.403 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 46.804 billion yuan.

　　Among them, there are 15 completed and put-into-production projects, including the Nanchang Ring Expressway West Second Ring (Houtian to Lehua Section) Project and the Nanchang Hongzhou Bridge Project; 27 continued construction projects, including the Comprehensive Improvement Project of the Tail of the Lower Reaches of the Ganjiang and Fuhe Rivers, the Nanchang G320 Xiangtang to Xishan Section Highway New Construction Project, and the Nanchang Rail Transit Line 1 North Extension Project; and 24 planned newly started projects, including the Nanchang North Second Ring Expressway Construction Project, the first phase of the Nanchang Yaohu Science Island Project, and the Nanchang Western Logistics Industrial Park Project. These projects will fill shortcomings in Nanchang's industries, further accelerate the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure and the transformation of old and new growth drivers, and promote Nanchang's accelerated building of a modern industrial system featuring the integrated development of advanced manufacturing and modern services.

　　Next, Nanchang will focus on the full life cycle of projects, go all out to speed up project advancement, promote early commencement of projects, further accelerate construction, and achieve early commissioning upon completion, using the “substance” and “effectiveness” of major and key project construction to drive the “stability” and “progress” of the city's economic and social development. At the same time, it will continue to deepen and solidify project planning and reserves, and, in conjunction with key work arrangements such as Nanchang's building of a “strong transportation city,” the “8810” action plan for modernizing key manufacturing industry chains, and continuous efforts to safeguard and improve people's livelihood, promote the formation of a rolling and continuous project reserve pattern. Focusing on funding support such as local government special bonds, central budget investment, and ultra-long-term special government bonds, it will actively plan and reserve a batch of good projects that strengthen foundations, shore up weaknesses, benefit the long term, and improve people's livelihood.
