People's livelihood is no small matter; every branch and leaf reflects care. Since the beginning of this year, as Nanjing has advanced the construction of major projects across the city, livelihood-related projects have rightly been the top priority.

The former "urban village"—Shiliu Xincun—is under vigorous construction. The project focuses on in-situ reconstruction and resettlement of returning residents, with residents participating throughout and jointly discussing and building together; No. 57 Dayanggou in Qinhuai District completed on-site rebuilding over the course of a year, and original residents are happily renovating their new homes; the Southern New Town National Fitness Center has been fully completed, giving the southeast of the main city a large comprehensive fitness venue at last and bringing surrounding residents a richer sports experience... In addition, a number of new schools, new hospitals, and water and power supply projects are advancing steadily at "accelerated speed."
