On the 14th, the reporter learned from Guangzhou Railway Group that starting from 00:00 on April 23, 2024, four stations—Foshan West, Zhaoqing, Dongguan West, and Guangzhou North—together with the Foshan-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway, Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Railway, and Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway will implement mutual recognition of security checks, so passengers transferring do not need to exit the station.

According to the passenger transport manager of Guangzhou Railway Group, the group supports the "four-network integration" development pilot work carried out in Guangdong Province. By signing cooperation agreements, clarifying cooperation matters, improving facilities and equipment, and optimizing transfer procedures, it has achieved mutual recognition of security checks between railway stations and intercity stations, making travel more convenient for citizens.

To reduce repeated security checks during passenger travel, Guangzhou North Station has made full use of the original platform overpass, removed the security checkpoint at the entrance from Huadu Intercity Station to the Guangzhou North Station platform, and eliminated the inconvenience caused by multiple security checks, effectively enabling passengers to access high-speed rail trains and Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity trains regardless of whether they enter the station from Guangzhou North Station or Huadu Station.

Dongguan West Station has added broadcast announcements and signage guidance for convenient transfers in the Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity passenger arrival area, fully debugged the transfer gate equipment, and ensured that the gate equipment is in good condition without abnormalities. At the same time, it has strengthened service training for passenger staff and ensured proper publicity and explanation work when passengers make inquiries.

Foshan West Station has reorganized the transfer flow lines and added directional signs and broadcast prompts on intercity platforms and transfer passages. Additional staff and young volunteers have been deployed at key locations such as exits and platforms to provide publicity and guidance for passengers and help them transfer quickly.
