　　Recently, Kennametal was invited to attend the 13th Deep Foundation Engineering Development Forum and the 2024 China International Deep Foundation Engineering Technology and Equipment Expo, where it discussed opportunities with the industry and jointly promoted industry development. It also showcased its **products and technological achievements in the field of deep foundation engineering.



　　During the conference, we had the opportunity to interview Dong Lijun, China Sales Manager of Kennametal's Construction Division; Lu Peng, Marketing Manager of Kennametal's Infrastructure Business Unit; and Zhou Hongyu, Product Manager of Kennametal's Mining and Construction Division. They shared their insights on industry development and Kennametal's market advantages and innovations, demonstrating Kennametal's professionalism and leading position in different fields. This interview not only gave us a better understanding of Kennametal's development strategy and future plans in the Chinese market, but also brought everyone valuable industry insights and experience sharing.



　　In the interview, Zhou Hongyu, Product Manager of Kennametal's Mining and Construction Division, explained that Kennametal exhibited cutting picks for rotary drilling rigs and double-wheel milling equipment, covering mature products with high market recognition, coarse-grain alloy products with obvious advantages for dry-hole construction, and new DK cutting picks that can greatly improve construction efficiency under specific working conditions. In addition, Kennametal highlighted KENCAST, a high-performance wear-resistant material that can be customized or cut according to customers' actual size requirements. It features convenient and efficient on-site repair and can extend wear life by more than 10 times compared with conventional wear-resistant materials on the market. At the same time, Dong Lijun, China Sales Manager of Kennametal's Construction Division, said that this exhibition was highly professional and provided an excellent display and exchange platform for companies in the industry. He also witnessed the remarkable achievements made by many peers in technological innovation and product upgrading, which strengthened Kennametal's confidence in and expectations for the future development of the deep foundation industry.



　　In its keynote report at this deep foundation forum, Kennametal highlighted the application of Kennametal cemented carbide and cutting tools in the field of rotary drilling rigs, injecting new momentum into the development of the deep foundation engineering industry. He said that Kennametal's future trends will focus on high efficiency, environmental protection, and intelligence, and that it will promote industry development through technological innovation and cooperation.
