Recently, the centralized commencement and completion ceremony for Fuling District's 2024 first-quarter key projects and the foundation-laying ceremony for the Sinopharm Taiji Pharmaceutical City Phase II construction project were held. 　　According to reports, the Sinopharm Taiji Pharmaceutical City Phase II construction project has a total investment of 680 million yuan, covers an area of 11,000 square meters, and is located in Taiji Pharmaceutical City Zone B (Longqiao Plant Area). After the project is completed, it can process about 20,000 tons of raw medicinal materials per year, add 230 new jobs, and enable the Longqiao Plant Area to have a production capacity scale of 10 billion yuan per year, with good social and economic benefits.
