Chinanews.com, Chongqing, April 10 — At around 10 a.m. on April 8, accompanied by a loud blast, the right line of the Jinyun Mountain Tunnel on Chongqing Urban Rail Express Line 27 was completed and holed through, achieving breakthrough of both the left and right lines.

　　Next, the Jinyun Mountain Tunnel on Chongqing Urban Rail Express Line 27 will enter the comprehensive secondary lining construction stage, laying the foundation for subsequent work such as track laying and integrated commissioning and testing, and striving to be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.

　　According to reports, the civil engineering Section 02 of Chongqing Urban Rail Express Line 27 has a total length of 8.32 kilometers, involving two stations, two running sections and one substation. Among them, the section from Bishan Station to Huxi Station was constructed using shield (TBM) and mining methods, crossing Jinyun Mountain.

　　Among them, the Jinyun Mountain Tunnel is a key project of the section. During construction, it faced difficulties such as numerous unfavorable geological zones, complex geological structures, high construction risks and great technical difficulty.

　　In response to the above problems, the project department took multiple measures and adopted corresponding countermeasures.

　　First, in the face of problems such as numerous unfavorable geological zones, the project department increased technical investment and actively carried out the research, development and application of new technologies.

　　Second, in response to the problems caused by the many working faces at the exit of the Jinyun Mountain Tunnel and the cross-operation of mechanical equipment inside the tunnel, the project department assigned dedicated personnel to statistically analyze construction efficiency, reasonably adjusted the construction procedures of each working face, and arranged dedicated personnel at key junction positions for traffic direction and safety warnings, ensuring the safe operation of mechanical equipment inside the tunnel.

　　Third, in response to quality problems in tunnel support construction, the project department, based on the problems existing in tunnel support, established a QC group for the primary support of the mined tunnel, conducted investigation and analysis layer by layer, and ultimately proposed corresponding solutions based on the causes of the problems, ensuring construction quality.

　　Next, the project department of the civil engineering Section 02 of Chongqing Urban Rail Express Line 27 will continue to work hard, strictly control safety and quality, organize construction scientifically and in an orderly manner, make every effort to overcome the key and difficult points of the project, and accelerate the construction progress.

　　After Chongqing Urban Rail Express Line 27 is completed and put into operation, it will enable rapid transfer between internal and external urban transport, facilitate public travel, and be of positive significance for improving rail transit efficiency and perfecting the local comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.
