"Lift the barrier, lower the barrier." During the Qingming Festival, at the electromechanical Section 1 project department of the Jinrentong Expressway of China Railway 17th Bureau, debugging was underway on various lane devices at the Nanmu toll station, including license plate recognition cameras, industrial control computers, and barrier machines. Giving up their holiday rest time, they fought on the construction front line to ensure that the Jinrentong Expresswayengineering projectopens on schedule, making silent contributions.

The electromechanical Section 1 of the Jinrentong Expressway is mainly responsible for the installation of electromechanical systems—including communications, toll collection, monitoring, power supply, ventilation, lighting, and fire protection—for 4 toll stations, 1 parking area, 1 service area, 15 substations, and 8 tunnels totaling 14 km within Bozhou District of Zunyi City and Renhuai City. The construction of these systems will provide drivers with a safer and more convenient travel experience.

As the opening of the Jinrentong Expressway approaches, the various work teams of the electromechanical Section 1 project department are working overtime to meet the schedule and actively devoting themselves to the construction front line. As of now, the Renhuai South (Tanchang) toll station has opened and is in operation, and the construction of the standardized equipment room at the Nanmu toll station has been completed, with standalone debugging underway. At the Renhuai East toll station and the Wuma toll station, equipment installation and cable laying are 90% complete. The electromechanical works for the Lizhanggou tunnel group and the Xiangshan tunnel have been completed, and power transmission tests and standalone tunnel debugging are underway. Meanwhile, the power supply and distribution systems, ventilation systems, monitoring systems, fire protection systems, and lighting system facilities for the Guangming Suoluoping tunnel group, the Luojiapu tunnel, and the Daqiaya tunnel have also been installed, and equipment cable connection work is in progress; debugging conditions are expected to be ready around the end of April. According to the project department's plan, the project will complete tunnel electromechanical installation by April 30, 2024, complete road electromechanical installation and standalone tunnel electromechanical debugging in May, and complete joint debugging and testing of the entire line by the end of June, meeting the conditions for opening to traffic.

The electromechanical Section 1 project department is setting off a vigorous upsurge of comparing, learning, catching up, helping, and surpassing, always devoting themselves to their work with a high sense of responsibility and mission, and ensuring high-quality project progress with superb technology and a rigorous attitude. During construction, they strictly comply with construction safety requirements, carefully organize construction, and strengthen on-site management to ensure project quality and safety. At the same time, they actively communicate and coordinate with relevant departments to promptly resolve issues during construction. The completion of the project will strongly promote the development of the Central Guizhou Economic Zone, shorten the travel time and distance between Bijie, Liupanshui, and Anshun in western Guizhou and Chongqing, and also create favorable conditions for the development of resources along the route and for promoting poverty alleviation and development in the Wumeng Mountain area.
