　　On March 18, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission held the launch ceremony of the Shaanxi Province 2024 High-Quality Project "Government-Bank-Enterprise" Matchmaking Series Activities and the Provincial Key Project Financing Matchmaking Meeting. Sun Ximin, Party Secretary and Director of the Development and Reform Commission, stated that this year, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, focusing on the central task of economic construction and the primary task of high-quality development, have made important arrangements for deepening and expanding the "Three Years" activities. High-quality project construction remains the mainline task throughout the year, with plans to implement 600 provincial key construction projects with an annual investment exceeding 500 billion yuan, covering infrastructure, industrial development, ecological protection, livelihood improvement, and many other fields. At the meeting, 23 financial institutions signed memoranda of financial cooperation on provincial key projects with the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, supporting project financing of 205 billion yuan.

　　Among them, the 2024 Xi'an Power Grid Construction Project (newly started), according to information revealed at the press conference held in Xi'an on March 26 titled "Gathering Strength for 'Eight New Breakthroughs' to Innovatively Promote New Achievements in Chinese-Style Modernization Xi'an Practice," 20 substations are to be completed throughout the year, adding 2 million kilowatts of new power supply capacity to Xi'an's power grid.

　　Among the 6 livelihood security projects, the Fengdong Campus (Phase I) of The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical University has recently started construction. The project is located west of Xizhou Avenue, south of the planned road, north of Shiyuan First Road, and east of Fenghe Avenue in Fengdong New City, Xixi New District, Xi'an. The construction content includes outpatient and emergency building, medical technology building, inpatient building, infection center, fever clinic, medical auxiliary building, and other facilities. It is the first public comprehensive Grade-A tertiary hospital in Fengdong New City, covering an area of 59,999.85 square meters, with a total construction area of 107,364.58 square meters, a total of 1,000 beds, and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in March 2028.
　　The bidding for the Phase I construction project of Tongchuan Education Science and Innovation City has been launched, which also means Tongchuan will finally welcome its first undergraduate institution. According to the bidding announcement, the project is located on Xianfeng Road in Tongchuan New District, south to Daxue South Road, adjacent to higher education land on the north, east to Daxue East Road, and west to Xihuan Road. It includes an experimental and practice center, library and information center, scientific research and training center, catering support center, apartments, gymnasium, and other basic supporting facilities. The total land area is 538 mu, with a total construction area of 180,031.8 square meters. The total project investment is approximately 1,619,309,600 yuan, with a planned construction period of 540 calendar days.
