Walking into the Heishi Industrial Park in Gaolan County, many enterprises are going all out, competing for projects and rushing orders to drive steady growth of the park's industrial economy. At the bustling production site of Lanxin Steel Group, reporters saw molten iron flowing and steel sparks flying, with more than 5,000 employees busy on the production frontline.
It is understood that Heishi Town firmly upholds the concept of "projects first" and makes every effort to ensure the smooth progress of major projects, including the annual 1.2-million-ton coking and supporting high-value-added coke oven gas utilization project, the 100,000-kilowatt photovoltaic project in Gaolan County supporting the Lanzhou New Area Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park, the Gaolan County 200MW/400MWh independent shared energy storage project, the Gaolan Heishichuan 45MW and Shangjingtan 35MW distributed wind power projects, and the production line for 30,000 tons of bridge steel formwork per year.
Up to now, the town has completed fixed asset investment of 103 million yuan, up 117% year on year, and is expected to complete fixed asset investment of 280 million yuan in the first quarter; the town's 14 industrial enterprises above designated size have completed total output value of 880 million yuan, up 138% year on year, and are expected to complete total output value of 1.32 billion yuan for industrial enterprises above designated size in the first quarter.
According to reports, this year Heishi Town will continue to advance the action of "attracting large, strong, and leading enterprises" and the "double advancement" campaign for projects, carefully plan six investment promotion projects with complete supporting elements, strong driving effects, and high attractiveness, tap two potential project leads with investment of more than 50 million yuan, and implement three investment promotion projects from outside the province, with 112 million yuan of funds in place, up 80% year on year, and is expected to complete 250 million yuan of funds in place in the first quarter.

At the construction sites of the northern extension road project of Mingfan Avenue in Gaolan County, the Gaolan County Chengzhong Kindergarten construction project, and the grain processing and storage project of Gansu Jinshahe Noodle Industry Co., Ltd., tower cranes stand in clusters and machines roar.
The northern extension road project of Mingfan Avenue in Gaolan County is currently in the roadbed construction stage. It is planned to complete the laying of water supply and drainage pipelines in the second quarter, complete the laying of base and surface layers and the construction of ancillary facilities such as greening and lighting in the third quarter, and be fully completed and put into use by the end of October 2024.
According to reports, the Mingfan Avenue road project in Gaolan County is located in the central area of the county seat, with the road starting from Lanquan Road in the south and ending at Dongxing Road in the north. The road has a total length of 1,136.949 meters, a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour, and two-way four lanes.

Reporters learned that in 2024 the county plans to implement 60 key county-level projects with a total investment of 10.927 billion yuan. The projects cover infrastructure, livelihood projects, and other fields, with an annual planned investment of 3.134 billion yuan. At present, 19 of the 24 continued projects have resumed construction, a resumption rate of 79.2%; 11 of the 36 new projects have started construction, a start rate of 30.6%, going all out to sprint toward a "good start."
