Among them, 121 projects are planned to newly start construction, with a total investment of 81.4 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 18.1 billion yuan; 139 projects are continued construction, with a total investment of 53.38 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 10.38 billion yuan. Since construction resumed this year, project construction in the prefecture has been accelerated.

　　These days, the Yanbian Prefecture Wanlong Medical and Elderly Care Rehabilitation Center project is under vigorous construction in Yanji City. The project has a total investment of 150 million yuan, covers an area of 13,000 square meters, and has a building area of 46,000 square meters. Project leader Cai Chunfeng said that the project is expected to have 1,000 beds, including a home-based elderly care institution, as well as a series of segments such as expanded medical care, health and rehabilitation, and residential tourism. It will be put into operation in phases starting from May 2024. By then, it will become the largest "medical + elderly care" health and wellness center in Yanji City, promoting the development of elderly care service institutions in various forms in Yanbian Prefecture and Yanji City.

　　The Yanji Guantang Hot Spring Hotel project, located on the west side of the Jindou Amusement Park in Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom, has its main building already rising from the ground, and interior decoration is proceeding in an orderly manner. The project has a total investment of 595 million yuan and a total area of 56,000 square meters. It is a one-stop resort center integrating hot springs, dining, guest rooms, conferences, and entertainment, and is expected to be put into operation in May this year.

　　In Wangqing County, the Jilin Weite Pharmaceutical Industrial Park project has a total investment of 150 million yuan and a total land area of 40,000 square meters, engaging in research and development and production of cosmetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, and more. Some cosmetics, toothpaste, and other products have already been put into production. Among them, the food soft capsule production project of Jilin Weite Biotechnology Co., Ltd. covers an area of 2,600 square meters. The main works have now been completed, and production is expected to begin in May this year to produce soft capsules, with an expected output value of 50 million yuan.

　　In Tumen City, based on development advantages such as its industrial foundation, border port characteristics, rich cultural heritage, and distinctive industrial parks, the local government has precisely planned and implemented a group of highly driving industrial projects, port projects, and park projects, vigorously promoting the implementation of projects such as the Sanjiu Green Alcohol-Based Clean Fuel project, the new coal seam development project of Jilin Fengsheng Mining, and the modern cold-chain logistics warehousing base, fully supporting enterprises to grow bigger and stronger, and promoting the Riguang Mountain Scenic Area to follow a path of distinctive and differentiated development. The city implements the "one dedicated task force for each key project" working system and has established 49 dedicated task forces for key projects, striving to ensure projects are "sufficiently reserved, strongly sustainable, of good quality, and with complete procedures," and promoting the sustainable development of project construction.

It strengthens management and services and accelerates the construction of major projects. In 2023, Longjing City implemented a total of 49 key projects. Among them, the main structures of 8 projects each worth over 100 million yuan, including the Light Industry Industrial Park, Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, and Korean Ethnic Folk Food Industrial Park, have been completed; the Kaishantun Processing Industrial Park, Yunzhiquan Cultural Complex, and High-Tech Green Food Incubation Base have completed construction; and the Fubaoer Training Center and Mushroom Village have been put into operation. It has increased investment attraction efforts and strictly implemented the "dual chain leader" system, with municipal leaders and department "top leaders" taking the lead in going out to attract investment, bring in enterprises, and land projects on a quarterly and monthly basis, respectively.
