The reporter learned from Qinghai Provincial Communications Control Group that on March 25, as the last box girder was steadily lowered into place and precisely aligned, the Yaocaotai Bridge on the Qinghai Ledu-Hualong Expressway project successfully completed closure of both decks, marking the complete fulfillment of the project's entire bridge erection task and laying a solid foundation for the full rollout of subsequent construction tasks and the achievement of the goal of opening to traffic.

Yaocaotai Bridge is located at the ravine-crossing section between the Xiangcao Tunnel and the Yaocaotai Tunnel on the Lehua Expressway. The bridge design connects with the transition-section subgrade outside the tunnel portals at both ends, arranged in a separated double-deck two-way configuration, with the left deck 100 meters long and the right deck 120 meters long.

To ensure the successful erection of the box girders, the project formulated a detailed construction plan for the installation and erection of the girders and slabs. During the erection process, strict compliance was maintained with construction specifications and the quality and safety system standards, with layer-by-layer checks on key procedures such as lifting, transport and erection. With the joint cooperation of all participating personnel, the box girders were erected safely, in an orderly manner and precisely, ensuring quality and safety throughout the construction process.

It is understood that the Lehua Expressway is an important component of the "three vertical" lines in the "three vertical and three horizontal" external comprehensive transport corridors of the eastern Qinghai urban agglomeration. The project route has a total length of 53.594 kilometers. Its starting point connects with the G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway; in the long term it will interconnect northward with the S204 Zhanian Highway and the G341 Jiaxi Highway, and southward with the Yatong Expressway and the G310 Jiangong Expressway, forming a corridor out of the province in the eastern part of Qinghai Province. Once the project is completed, it will achieve a networked regional expressway system and is of great significance for promoting interconnection within the Haidong municipal area of Qinghai Province, improving traffic conditions in areas along the route, enhancing radiation capacity, and promoting the development of local tourism such as at Qutan Temple.
