Recently, accompanied by the roar of machinery, the resettlement site construction project in Jiguan Village, Yangwan Town, Wangjiang County—long awaited by the villagers—has begun full-scale construction.

　　The Huayang River Flood Storage and Detention Area construction project is one of the 150 major water conservancy projects in the country. The resettlement site project in Jiguan Village, Yangwan Town, Wangjiang County is expected to complete the construction of 150 houses by the end of 2024, at which time 150 households comprising 314 people will be able to move into their new homes. The special task force for the Huayang River Flood Storage and Detention Area project in Yangwan Town has long been working deep in the villages and groups, conducting extensive communication and consultation with the public, organizing Party members and cadres to deliver policy explanations to over 800 person-times, and "hand-in-hand" helping more than 300 residents clearly calculate their "resettlement accounts," "economic accounts," and "development accounts," successfully resolving the deep-rooted desire of 15 resettlement subjects in Jiguan Village for "land allocation and self-built housing" and gaining their acceptance of the current resettlement policy. The construction of this project is conducive to improving people's well-being and effectively enhancing the public's sense of gain and happiness.
