Recently, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission published the 2024 Major Construction Project Implementation Plan project list for Zhejiang Province's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" initiative to expand effective investment. Among them, seven engineering projects in Jingning were selected, namely: the Jingning 638 National Highway Jingning Jiulong to Hongxing Section Reconstruction Project, the 235 National Highway Jingning Dongkeng to Jingtai Boundary Section Reconstruction Project, the Jingning Pumped Storage Project, the Jingning She Autonomous County Shuanggang Reservoir and Water Supply Project, the Zhejiang Jingning Characteristic Industry Platform Phase I Project (Sige and Dachiyang Blocks), the Annual Output of 3,000 Tons Huiming Tea Industry Project, and the Lishui Jingning Fuqiu Community Phase I Project.

The "2024 Major Construction Project Implementation Plan for Zhejiang Province's 'Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan' Initiative to Expand Effective Investment" proposes ensuring that the province's fixed asset investment grows by about 6% in 2024, advancing more than 1,000 major provincial construction projects in 2024, and planning to complete investment of more than 1 trillion yuan, among other main goals. Zhejiang Province has arranged 1,101 major provincial construction projects in the first batch, with an annual planned investment of 1,031.3 billion yuan.

The seven engineering projects in the autonomous county have a total investment of approximately 19.75 billion yuan, covering the fields of building a strong transportation province, clean energy supply security, water network improvement and flood safety, organic urban renewal, and agriculture and rural areas as a priority. Among them, the Jingning 638 National Highway Jingning Jiulong to Hongxing Section Reconstruction Project and the Lishui Jingning Fuqiu Community Phase I Project are new construction projects, while the rest are continuation projects. As of the end of February, the "Thousand Projects, Trillion Yuan" engineering projects in the autonomous county had reported completed investment of 415 million yuan, with an investment completion rate of 22%; one new construction project had started, for a start rate of 50%.

Since the beginning of this year, the autonomous county has given full play to the role of the project "eight mechanisms," implemented the regular operation of dedicated project teams, and through measures such as publicizing the start-up status of new construction projects, publicizing the completion status of each unit's 2024 investment plan, and publicizing investment project "horse-racing" competitions, has pushed project units to accelerate project progress and created a strong atmosphere of "vigorously advancing projects and vigorously pursuing investment." From January to February, the county completed fixed asset investment of 527 million yuan. Among this, private investment reached 302 million yuan, an increase of 75%; investment in high-tech industries reached 168 million yuan, an increase of 747%; and manufacturing investment reached 224 million yuan, an increase of 373%. All three increases ranked first in the city.
