Recently, the Nandagang Grand Bridge project on the north extension of Huangxin Line (S215) in the Nandagang Industrial Park, Huanghua City, Cangzhou, which crosses over the Huangwan Railway, was successfully rotated into place. The project was designed by China Railway Intercity Planning and Construction Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Railway Sixth Group. The completion of the north extension road of Huangxin Line will further optimize the transportation interconnection development pattern between Nandagang and Huanghua City, and help Huanghua Port achieve "accelerated speed" in building itself into a multifunctional comprehensive modern major port.
At the bridge rotation site, the Nandagang Grand Bridge crosses the Huangwan Railway (from Huanghua South Station in Hebei to Tianjin Wanjia Wharf), with an intersection angle of 114 degrees. The bridge superstructure is a (70+70) m prestressed concrete T-shaped rigid frame, with a total deck width of 28.9 meters. The minimum clearance between the bottom of the T-frame girder and the top of the catenary mast is 1.8 meters. The cantilever end of the rotation is 2×65 meters, and the rotation weight is approximately 20,200 tons. It is currently the single-pier double-width rotation bridge with the largest single-unit weight and the widest deck in Huanghua and even Cangzhou City.
At 8:30, as planned, the section of the Huangwan Railway between Huanghua East Station and Yangsanmu Station was closed to traffic. The bridge was rotated clockwise at high altitude by 66 degrees over 77 minutes, and the rotation bridge was accurately positioned in place. The railway transport department was requested to lift the closure, open the line, and restore normal operation.
The north extension project of Huangxin Line (S215) is a key project in the comprehensive transportation plan of Nandagang, Huanghua City, and is the main channel for freight outbound transport from Nandagang. It will help Huanghua Port—the main seaport for China's west-to-east coal transport and the port with the largest annual coal throughput in China—transform from a single coal export port into a comprehensive major port, change the current situation of "only exporting, not importing," and further promote the coordinated development of port, industry, and city construction.
The reporter learned that in 2023, Cangzhou City has intensified its efforts in port transformation and upgrading and resource integration, optimized the port planning layout, improved port functions, and unswervingly built a multifunctional, comprehensive, and modern major port. Focusing on the comprehensive positioning, the local government has accelerated the construction of logistics parks and reserve bases and actively built a full industrial chain. Relying on Cangzhou City's construction as a port-type national logistics hub carrier city, it has extended the industrial chain around port-side industries such as green chemicals, high-end equipment manufacturing, and biomedicine. Giving play to the advantages of port transportation, it has actively improved logistics service functions and expanded the logistics supply chain service system of "inland port + railway transportation + port distribution and trading + supply chain services."
