In March, spring returns to the earth, and multiple highway projects across the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains have set off a construction climax. Builders are mustering their energy and racing against time to advance project construction, quickly sounding the "song of forging ahead."

On March 19, at the site of the Wujiaqu–Changji Highway reconstruction and expansion project on S231, workers operated machinery to demolish an old bridge.

The project starts at the intersection of Shaliangzi Village in Liugong Town, Changji City, and S102, and ends at the intersection of the old S231 and Diantai Road. The route is 11 kilometers long, with an estimated total investment of 336 million yuan. The entire line adopts the design standard of a first-class highway and has a two-way six-lane roadway. After the project is completed by the end of this year, the travel time from Changji City to Wujiaqu City will be shortened from the original 40 minutes to 20 minutes.

On March 21, near the interchange of the G30 Lianyungang–Khorgos Expressway and G575 Highway, workers were busy with construction, creating a scene of bustling activity. At present, the various sections of the G30 Lianyungang–Khorgos Expressway reconstruction and expansion project are gradually resuming and starting construction, and the project is under full-scale construction.

The Xinjiang section of the G30 Lianyungang–Khorgos Expressway reconstruction and expansion project is divided into the Xingxingxia–Hami section and the Hami–Tuyugou section, with a total length of 537.245 kilometers. The entire line is being reconstructed to the standard of a two-way 8-lane closed expressway, with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

On March 21, at the construction site of the ** contract section of the Kuqa–Shaya Highway construction, machinery and equipment were filling roadbed and excavating earthwork.

Recently, the various contract sections of the G217 Kuqa–Shaya Highway construction project have successively started construction. The total investment of the highway project is 3.502 billion yuan, and it is planned to be completed in June 2025.
