Since the beginning of this year, Yanbian Prefecture has focused on monitoring investment progress, guaranteeing the factors needed for resuming construction, and advancing the preliminary work of new projects, so as to accelerate the construction of key projects.

Yanbian Prefecture has followed the monthly quantified schedule and progress of each county (city), compared the target and plan situations of other regions horizontally, implemented the investment plan and the monthly statistical entry quota project by project, and ensured that the monthly investment is completed and scientifically entered into the statistics; it has carefully investigated and sorted out the problems existing in the resumption of construction projects, strengthened contact with competent industry authorities, reinforced the guarantee of factors such as labor, materials, water and electricity required for project construction, and accelerated the construction of resumed projects, striving to complete the resumption of 80 projects in the first quarter to ensure the formation of effective investment; relevant departments at the prefecture and county (city) levels have jointly promoted the resolution of key and difficult problems encountered in the preliminary work of projects, ensuring that all links are implemented. Preparations for the spring centralized commencement of construction have been made in advance, and site leveling and the installation of surrounding guardrails have been carried out in due course, so as to help new projects start construction in a timely manner and form new investment increments as early as possible.

This year, Yanbian Prefecture has included 260 key engineering projects of more than 50 million yuan in the provincial assessment system, with a total investment of 134.78 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 28.48 billion yuan. Among them, 121 projects are planned to start construction, with a total investment of 81.4 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 18.1 billion yuan; 139 projects are continued construction projects, with a total investment of 53.38 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 10.38 billion yuan.
