Recently, the list of key construction projects for 2024 in Xingyang City was released. The 321 projects have a total investment of 207 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 52.1 billion yuan. The number of projects, total investment, and annual planned investment increased by 19.8, 16.5, and 9.7 percentage points year-on-year respectively. These three indicators are 2 times, 1.3 times, and 1.2 times those at the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, respectively. Among them, the number of projects and the annual planned investment have both reached record highs.

　　The 321 projects mainly cover 9 fields: industry, service industry, social undertakings, urban construction, transportation, energy, ecological and environmental protection, agriculture, forestry and water conservancy, and new urbanization. They present four characteristics: First, both the scale and number of industrial projects have increased, and the three indicators of the number of projects, total investment, and annual planned investment in the three industries each account for about half. Second, newly started projects provide strong support. The 192 newly started projects and their annual planned investment account for 59.8% and 52.8% respectively, up 27.3 and 9.8 percentage points year-on-year respectively. Third, projects with investment exceeding 100 million yuan have strong driving effects. There are 184 projects with a total investment scale exceeding 100 million yuan and 114 projects with an annual planned investment exceeding 100 million yuan, accounting for 57.3% and 35.5% respectively. Fourth, private capital investment makes a large contribution. There are 224 projects invested by private capital, with an annual planned investment of 47.17 billion yuan, accounting for 69.8% of the total number of projects and 90.6% of the annual planned investment, respectively.
