　　On the evening of March 24, after discovering a video circulating online showing a student at the Central Kindergarten of Zhenligu Township being beaten, the CPC Yucheng County Committee and the Yucheng County Government immediately established a joint investigation team comprising the education, public security, discipline inspection and supervision, and other departments, and launched an investigation overnight. The relevant circumstances are explained as follows:

　　According to a preliminary investigation, the online claim that a student was beaten is true. The public security authorities have launched an investigation into the matter. The county education and sports bureau has carried out education and rectification at the kindergarten involved, suspended the kindergarten principal, dismissed the personnel involved, and arranged for professional staff to provide psychological counseling to the student.

　　Yucheng County will, in accordance with the investigation results, deal with the responsible persons in accordance with laws and regulations, take this as a warning, comprehensively strengthen the routine supervision of preschool education institutions, regulate the professional conduct of preschool education practitioners, and prevent similar problems from recurring.
