Ganzhou Meteorological Observatory of Jiangxi Province Issues Orange Hail Warning Signal

　　According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Ganzhou Meteorological Observatory issued an orange hail warning signal at 14:47 on March 25, 2024: It is expected that within the next 3 hours, some areas of Zhanggong District, Economic Development Zone, Rongjiang New Area, and Ganxian District may experience hail weather, with localized severe convective weather such as thunderstorms, gales, and short-term heavy precipitation. Please take precautions.

　　Defense guidelines:

　　1. The government and relevant departments shall carry out emergency work against hail in accordance with their duties;

　　2. The meteorological department shall make preparations for artificial hail suppression operations and conduct operations at the appropriate time;

　　3. Outdoor pedestrians shall immediately take shelter in safe places;

　　4. Drive poultry and livestock into roofed shelters, and properly protect outdoor items or equipment such as automobiles that are vulnerable to hail;

　　5. Pay attention to guarding against lightning disasters accompanying hail weather.
