Recently, it was learned from Nanning Communications Investment Group that the fourth branch of the G322/358 Nanning–Binyang–Litang Highway Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Nanbin Highway Project") has recently successfully completed the paving of the asphalt lower-layer test section, marking that Phase I of the Nanbin Highway Project has fully entered the asphalt pavement construction stage.

　　The asphalt test section paved by the fourth branch of the Nanbin Highway Project is 400 meters long and 11 meters wide. The paving adopts a large anti-segregation paver for wide-width single-machine full-section paving construction, which can effectively solve the longitudinal joint problem caused by conventional echelon paving of asphalt pavements.

　　It is reported that the Nanbin Highway Project is located in Xingning District of Nanning City and Binyang County. The project starts at Wutang Town of Xingning District and ends at the boundary between Nanning and Guigang City. The route is about 89.5 kilometers long in total, built to the standard of a two-way four-lane Class I highway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The project is constructed in two phases. At present, Phase I has fully carried out subgrade, bridge and culvert, and pavement engineering construction, and Phase II has fully carried out subgrade, bridge and culvert, and tunnel engineering construction.

　　After completion, the project will shorten the distance from Binyang County to the urban area of Nanning, integrating Binyang County into Nanning's half-hour metropolitan circle; form a rapid transportation network from Binyang County seat to Litang Town, efficiently connecting with high-speed rail and improving public travel efficiency; further strengthen the radiating and driving role of Nanning's central urban area, support the construction of the Litang logistics hub center, and realize the integrated development of "transportation + logistics" between Nanning City and Guigang City.
